I saw your post about your podcast on lvtalk. I don’t post on there all that much because I haven’t developed thick enough skin, I’m diceinhand. I go to Vegas about 4-5 times per year. Enjoyed your show. I hope you and your wife have fun and win big in July, my next trip is in August. I look forward to hearing about your dinner at Michael’s. I’ve heard very good things about that restaurant but I haven’t been there yet.

My favorite O’shea’s memory was the time I was playing blackjack there many years ago and I had a few too many glasses of Guiness. I got up to go to the bathroom. I was followig this person with long hair and it ended up being a guy and I walked right into the men’s room. It took me a couple seconds to figure out why it looked so different in there. I couldn’t stop cracking up when I got back to the table. My bathroom story was not as good as yours – I’m glad that 70 year old man wasn’t in there when I visited.

I’m going to have to have to try a bloody mary there in Aug.

Butch at O’Sheas – We’ve shared more than a few stories with him late at night, the most recent being last September as we watched the CNN coverage of Ivan slamming into my beach home.

Butch is the ultimate late night Las Vegas bartender.

It’s funny that you mention it Tim. I was sitting there in the Venetian eating lunch with my travel partner telling him of you fascination with Vegas. His biggest question was ‘why doesn’t he move there?!” I don’t don’t know, could you take Vegas all of the time?

For me it’s two days and I am done.

Thanks for another great podcast, Tim! Regarding the hotel offers you mentioned in this week’s show and in past shows (especially the free offer from the Venetian), do you have a host at the Venetian and Barbary Coast, or are your offers simply a result of using your players cards? I’m always diligent about using my players cards when playing machines or tables, and I’d also received some great hotel offers as well. However, at what level of play (VP, specifically) should someone look into getting a host? Maybe you could discuss the topic of hosts in a future show…
