  1. Personally, I think the computerized roulette jive is a terrible idea. No fun at all. Harrah’s might not have invented this but it’s the kind of game they love.

  2. I’m driving back on the 18th. Provided that we’re not painfully hung over and can actually hang around for a few more hours, I’ll see you guys there!

  3. Tim & Michele,
How about stopping in front of the Imperial Palace (Strip Entry) Live Webcam Just before you go to meet your fans at O’Sheas bar next door on July 18th.

For those of us who can’t meet you in person, we can see you live on the strip (albeit on the web).

Don’t forget to bring your “Hi Mon” or “John 3:23” sign and Rainbow (clown) wig. LOL. OK, forget the wig. And don’t forget to smile and wave to the webcam.

Just set a time and we’ll be watching.

    Thanks guys.

  4. I called in on Friday from Venus. I found out that they only have a cover on the weekends. It was nice compared to an open pool last year though. Look @ Caesars site for pics. The cover charge was comped anway, so we didn’t mind.
I got my buddy hooked on the “Rapid Roulette”. He didn’t really play anything until that weekend. It does take the interaction between players out of the mix though. Is this going to be the trend? What’s next, Rapid Craps? Oh….thats after the cheap buffets!! (rimshot) Whoo your a tough crowd!!!!

  5. Posting on LVA forums that the Barbary Coast has been sold. No idea on who bouoght it – but there is, of course, one obvious choice.

Story is that, as of January 1st, employees will need to find other employment.

  6. Anything is possible, but I’ll wait until it comes from a little more official source. The rumor has gone around too many times to take seriously until then.

  7. I’m the one who bought the Barbary Coast. I’m planning to put a ferris wheel on the roof.

    don’t tell anyone…it’s a secret

  8. Well, it’s in good hands then…

23 and a half hours until my flight. All packed. Am planning on wearing the t-shirt I got for busting out Clonie Gowen at the WSOP…

  9. We enjoyed the computerized roulette. Also wanted to say we were at Caesars the last week of May and mid-week we were told $40 for men and $20 for women to get into the Venus pool.

I finally got some photos and a couple of video clips from our recent Vegas trip online. You can check it out at http://marilynmonroe.ca/vegas

  10. I made Platinum in a day a couple months ago (required 1,000 credits instaed of the 1,800 for Diamond). Now, I see on Harrah’s website that Diamond requires 3,000 as you said but for “Platinum in a Day” it says “Daily credits not applicable.” Maybe you can no longer make Platinum in a day. Kinda lame.

  11. I’ve noticed that you have a few “Office” characters on you “my space” page. Why not Crete?

  12. Tim, can we expect another riveting installment of Hooker Hunt on your upcoming trip to the strip? You sounded like you rather enjoyed doing that.
