Second City Las Vegas Closes on Aug. 1
Published June 10th, 2008 in Las Vegas NewsFive Hundy by Midnight has learned The Second City Las Vegas is closing its doors on Aug. 1. The Las Vegas branch of the legendary improvisational comedy theater has occupied the small showroom at Flamingo since 2001. Considering the revolving door of mid-priced shows on The Strip in that time, a seven-year run is pretty impressive. No word yet regarding what Flamingo has planned for the showroom nor whether The Second City is seeking a new Las Vegas home. An official announcement about the closing is expected later this week.

That’s too bad. I had a good time there.
It’s been a very popular show. I wouldn’t be surprised if it pops up elsewhere.
FYI… the moon in your banner seems just a little bit oversized.
Oh yooooouuuuuu.
: )
Dishy. Way to outblog them bastards. Hope you get credit for the scoop. James
I’m in town in late July and have been thinking about going to one of the comedy clubs. I think I’ll go to this instead to see one of the last performances at Flamingo.
