Thanks for the heads up about the fries at Burger Joint. I work right next to Flamingo so...

Jersey Boys is probably the best show in Las Vegas right now. Have seen it several times.

The dome at Plaza is pretty cool. It was nice as a restaurant before it became the sport book.

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plaza_Hotel_&_Casino -
In the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, the construction of the Union Plaza is visible as Bond evades the attention of the Sheriff's department.
In the 1989 film Back to the Future Part II, the Plaza serves as the hotel tower for "Biff's Casino".
The Union Plaza played a major role in the 1992 movie Cool World.
In the 1994 movie version of The Stand, the Union Plaza played a key role as the headquarters of Randal Flagg.
In the 1995 movie Casino, a scene starring Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone plays inside the Center Stage Restaurant, where "Ginger" (played by Sharon Stone) and "Sam" (played by Robert De Niro) argue over missing money.
In the 2000 movie Pay It Forward, a scene starring Kevin Spacey plays inside the Center Stage Italian Chop House at the plaza.
In the 2001 movie The Mexican, Samantha and Winston stay at the Plaza, and Frank is killed by being thrown from one of its balconies.
In the 2003 movie Looney Tunes: Back in Action, the Plaza serves as the hotel tower for "Yosemite Sam's Wooden Nickel" casino
In The Girl Next Door, desperate to win her back, Matt (Emile Hirsch) and his friends follow Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert) to Las Vegas and find her performing at an adult film convention, which appears to be taking place at The Plaza.
In the 2008 film The Grand, the Plaza serves as the hotel tower for "The Rabbit's Foot."

They might have used the Center Stage dome at the Plaza in the movie "Casino", but I really can't recall. My mind goes blank at every scene that Sharon Stone was in, some things being too painfull for the mind to remember.

But remember the '80s TV series "Crime Story"? They had lots of scenes shot in the Center State reastaurant - pre FSE canopy. That series was one of my favorites.

Perhaps a Matt Goss theme package ?

( I know, I know .. enough of Matt Goss already. Just had nothing else to comment on this week )

Less expensive at least, assuming he has a smaller package than Alice Cooper.

I'll offer this as far as the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel goes-

My wife's sister got married there a few years ago (five, I think) in the Elvis/Blue Hawaii ceremony and it was the most fun wedding I have ever been to. They did a really nice job of balancing the kitsch and the sincerity of the ceremony, if that makes sense.

Cermonies in the main chapel are streamed on the web at earthcam.com for the enjoyment of those who can't make the trip.
