I work as a country music radio announcer. The Garth Brooks announcement is giant not only our industry, but for Vegas as well.

Immediately after the announcement was made, our station was flooded with calls from people wondering about ticket details. Keep in mind, we’re a 3 hour flight away. People will definitely travel based on nothing else but the chance to see Garth Brooks perform.

Keep in mind the only shows Garth has done over the past couple years were 5 dates at Staples Center in LA and 10 dates in Kansas City, those all sold out in minutes…and we’re talking 17,000 seat arenas! It’s just a shame that the Wynn’s theater wasn’t bigger as he could single handedly help revive Vegas.
