Well, life got in the way this weekend, so I didn’t have time to record the next show. I was planning to do another celebrity sighting show, but I’m going to hold off on that one. Next stop: Las Vegas. I’ll be reporting in from sin city later this week, so stay subscribed! Las Vegas is Waiting.

I just found out that my voice mail line has been reassigned to someone else, so that sucks. I guess that’s what I get for using a free service. My new number is 702-866-9494. I know, I know—it doesn’t have the word “Vegas” in it. True, but it’s a Las Vegas area code, so that’s a nice touch. If you’ve left a voice mail message for me on the old 206 line anytime in the last several weeks, I didn’t get it. Sorry.

I’ll be recording the next action-packed installment of Five Hundy by Midnight in the next couple days, so don’t spend your entire Sunday checking the site for show #24. It’s not going to happen today.

My ISP had a hardware failure yesterday, resulting in the site being down all of last night and most of this morning. They restored everything from the backup from April 30, so the Sunday, May 1 show is temporarily unavailable. I will repost that show later this afternoon. Sorry for the problems!

We made it back home safely. My wallet is a little lighter and my clothes are fitting a little tighter, but that’s how it sometimes goes. I didn’t record even half of the things I had hoped, but I managed to squeeze in a few soundseeing tours, some highlights of a drunken jaunt downtown, a very special karaoke performance from Barbary Coast and more. I’m feeling pretty lazy as I always do when I return from Las Vegas, so I’m just going to give up on the idea of recording a show before this weekend. Just a quick post from Las Vegas. I’ve been recording lots of stuff the past couple days but haven’t made the time for a full-fledged show. Too much fun to be had to take the time, but I promise lots of fun in just another couple days.

The next podcast may be another couple days away. Since getting home, I’ve pretty much crashed and burned. The lack of sleep from last week has caught up with me and I don’t have the energy to even think about trying to record a coherent show. Thanks for your patience.

Well, it’s over. Another trip to Vegas here and gone. I’m at the McCarran International Airport just an hour from take off. Had a blast for the past five days. Lost some money but at least got a ton of play for my money. I’m planning to record and post a complete wrap-up podcast this weekend. A quick summary: Many dollars were lost, many drinks were consumed, many laughs were had.

I recorded a show from eight stories above the Las Vegas Strip but decided not to post it. You’re not missing anything. It was pretty much just 20 minutes of drunken babbling. Just found out that Johnny Carson died. A true legend is gone.

Drank lots of drinks and gambled lots. Haven’t hit four deuces yet, so the trip isn’t official, but I’m up $20.
