Five Hundy by Midnight 14: Fun With Vegas Taxicab Drivers

Here it is: The first batch of recordings from our trip to Las Vegas last week. Sorry for the sound quality irregularities. We recorded everything with varying mobile setups rather than the usual equipment.

In this week’s episode of Five Hundy by Midnight, the original Las Vegas podcast:
Gambling wrap-up
Tip of the Week: The Tunnel
Our airport-to-hotel cab ride
Spouse abuse and girly drinks
Andy Losik’s Potter’s Wheel Podcast
Tim and Tony Show promo

  1. Another great episode this week. The rage-a-holic cabbie was hilarious and made me laugh out loud. I’m tippin’ back a few Coronas while listening here on Saturday night. When that cab ride part played, I laughed and started choking on my beer.
    THANKS ALOT TIM!!!

  2. Great show as always… I’ve been really having the Vegas itch lately and hearing the sounds “live” aren’t a nice way to tease someone commuting into work Monday morning. 🙂

What are you using for your remote recording? If it’s been discussed in the past, somehow I missed it and/or forgot. Thanks and keep up the great work!

  3. Hi Five Hundy,

I would like to get in touch with you regarding a Vegas Bloggers article I’m doing for my site.

Would love to hear from you,

    Rob

  4. Tim, how was your Birthday dinner? Where did you go? I’m so glad my 2 favorite podcasts are fans of each other. long live Five Hundy and the Tim and Tony Show.
One one of your future trips, It would be fun to have a meet-up day. I used to live in Minneapolis, but now live in SD. From here its only a few hours to get there. When I moved here in 1996 I had a moving expense for hotels and food for a week to get to CA. I pretty much drove straight to Vegas and stayed for 5 days. In the first hour (ever in Vegas as an adult) I hit four of a kind in Carrabean Stud. 700$ mad money. It was great.

Keep up the great work. Geoff
