  1. Ha Ha I’m first, and this’ll be the last show I hear before I fly off to Vegas !!

  2. Have a good time Lou. Sound like a good time to be visiting. Would not have minded seeing that PH opening.

  3. It sounds like zo-ee bo-ee. And no he is not the son of David Bowie. I seem to recall the interview with him where he said he was pretending to be the son of David Bowie to get a gig and the name just stuck.

  4. Just wanted to point out it was post nasal drip from the dry air.

Anyway didn’t lose our shirts so had a pretty good week.

BTW Gem Wild Tiles is BAD. The bonus was boring and didn’t make any money.

DaVinci Tiles was much more fun.

O’Shea’s looked like the friendliest place in town.

We avoided Bill’s just for you guys.

Oeleans was awfull. Tighest slots in town.

    Dan

  5. Disagree with you on the Orleans there Dan unless they have just recently changed the slots payouts.

Hit $1400 Jackpot on a 1c Blazing 7’s machine ( max bet ) there two trips ago. The wife also seemed to let her money last longer than usual on the Goldfish machines there. For us its TI as the no-go place for slots.

Re: Flamingo Buffet. It really is a shame as the Buffet probably has one of the best views in that price range overlooking the Gardens/Waterfalls/Fishes & Flamingos as it does. Just a little more effort with the range and quality of food and believe could be a good low price bracket contender. Heck its no Tropicano!

  6. I am hearing that they have reduced their payout at the Olreans since your visit from other people. We actually went because of an old reccommendation but we were not impressed.

  7. Tim & Michelle,

Whats the deal with your boy Prince? Suing fans, whats up there in water of Lake Minnetonka? (sp?)

  8. Not sure if you know that the production of Joseph in London is the product of one of those bizarre talent contests where they make wannabe stage actors fight for the part by singing pop songs on TV. It was marginally better than “Grease: You’re The One That I Want”, but that wasn’t hard if your version was anything like the trainwreck we got in the UK.

    e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtQ7mO-rK08

Andrew Lloyd Webber did the same thing last year with The Sound of Music and because of all the TV exposure both shows have been massive hits, despite unknowns taking the leading role.

Do could the same kind of cheese-fest be heading to Vegas… and if so is Steve Wynn going to be one of the TV judges? How good would that be?

  9. Forget about voting for best blog …

Was wanting to vote for best carpet ( after the chat night a while back )

  10. .. after all does Michele ( spealt with one ‘l’ this time ) playing Gems Wild Tiles slot online count the room as a Casino ?
