  1. Hey Tim and Michele that was a very moving and hilarious send off for Celine. Check out the VegasRex site for his take on the last show, it’s pretty funny too. Being a Canadian I always felt I needed to support her show at Caesars by actually seeing it but, I never got around to it because, well, there has been always other more important things like checking out the porn slapper info and attending time share presentations, among other things. 🙂
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the both of you and thanks for the podcast.

  2. It’s always good to end the Christmas show wilth Clint and Lesley and their wonderful rhymes.

    monay and Honey

Clint and mint and of course

    Lesley and Presley.

great ending to a great year.

    Merry Christmas

    dan

  3. Ya know, the Caesars limit story is kinda BS… Or maybe not BS but any high end place negotiates limits with whales per player.

This was just Caesars ‘posted’ limits, which basically means they changed the signs.

Any high end player could go to Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas or MEGACENTER/WTF?(tm) and probably get the same thing or more.

  4. Quite a show, I laughed, I cried, I sang along.

I heard that Caesars is negotiating with Dave Lifton to take over for Celine….’A Brand New Dave’? Throw in a few gymnists and a couple of fountains…

    Hanukah in Vegas…incredible

  5. You heard taht wrong, Mike. Caesars actually asked me to play in the fountains…with the added provision that I go electric.

It will be my tribute to Keith Relf.

  6. water? fire? electricity? music?

If that’s not a Cirque show in the making, I don’t know what is.

I had to Google Keith Reif…I haven’t converted my Yardbirds 8-Tracks to MP3 yet. It seems a little to Spinal Tap to be real.

  7. Dave, another great Chanukah song,! Tear down that God Damned Clown!

Hey Tim and Michelle, do you know of any other podcast that has not one, but two Chanukah songs? That’s fucking awesome.

Again I was rolling during Tim’s homage to Celine. You’re getting better and better at this comedy thing Tim!

  8. I was moved by your celine tribute. speaking of celine tributes…see this article in NY Magazine that asks “Is disdain for Céline Dion innate or learned? And what’s wrong with liking her music anyway?”

The link to the lenghthy NYMag review of Carl Wilson’s book “Let’s Talk About Love: A Journey to the End of Taste” is here: http://nymag.com/arts/books/reviews/42082/

    Happy holidays!

  9. That had to be one of your best shows so far, you’ve earned a week off.

There needs to be a new trippie category for ‘best Vegas show review’… I’ve never wanted to go to a spice girls concert in my life, but now I feel like I’ve missed something.

  10. Oh christ, there is gonna be a spice girl dvd. great, I need a new drink coaster.

Heather saw the second to last Celine show. Trying to get her to call in with a review.

  11. I have a feeling when Bette Midler does her show at Caesars ya’ll going to miss Celine. Quite Frankly, I always wanted to go to Celine’s show but i couldn’t get any of my family members to attend with me. Even when I told them I would pay for their tickets. You should have heard the moans and groans.
