  1. I heard a rumor that Criss Angel is claiming that he is responsible for the snow and engineered it as a publicity stunt.

  2. What an honor to have a show produced just for you. All the effort is appreciated every week, but this one was special. Thanks for making my weekend. And by the way, you mentioned something about new years on the last show and I just went with the idea. I was thinking next year by the way. Have a great holiday. Hope there’s no fuel oil shortage. Keep the Coke Zero close and the Sailor Jerry even closer. http://www.freehollowbooks.com

  3. It should be noted that the tropicana buffet, which i ate a utilitarian meal at on the way to the bodies exhibit was absolutely terrible. It was definitely in the bottom 3 meals of my life, I’ve never been to the flamingo buffet, but i can’t imagine it could be worse. Although half the reason i go to vegas is the food so it could just be the contrast with having eaten some of the best meals i will ever eat in the same trip..

  4. I think comparing hospital food against Imperial Palace food is giving hospital food a disservice ( still think Riviera Buffet is the worst though ! ).

Happy and Prosperous New Year to All.

  5. About three years ago we got a deal with Buffet and Show at the Stratosphere… Its my personal Worst.

You just can’t beat the Ham Steak at Ellis Island.

  6. Sahara Buffet has to be the worst. I remember once, in a misguided attempt to be cultural, they had Crawdads as a featured item.

I always speculated that they might not be crawdads….

  7. Two years ago when I stayed at the IP, I tossed all advice aside and started Sunday morning with the buffet. I have an iron stomach. I can handle anything. Bring it on!

Yeah, when I felt like hurling in the middle of the Fitz later that afternoon, I knew I had met my match.

  8. You did it again.

Please please don’t go over 80 minutes, or split it in two.

We can’t listen to it in my car.

Did it as an MP3 so we might work it out but we don’t drive my wife’s little car in the winter.

“I took the liberty of improving the look of your site. I hope you don’t mind. Merry Christmas”

    Mmmmmm – tasty.

  10. Two words:

    Arizona Charlie’s.

This comes from someone who can eat almost ANYTHING. To quote Huey Lewis (and everyone should, every day):

“Across the street, a neon sign
All you can eat for a dollar ninety nine
Aww, that old stew is the baddest in the land
One dollars worth was all that I could stand”

  11. My brothers and I ate at the Flamingo Buffet one night. We called it “The all you can keep down” buffet… definitely the worst we’ve had on the strip!!

  12. I got to see the snow at the base of the Luxor when I arrived last Friday, and stayed a week hoping to experience the sequel (Snowpocalypse II: Snow more mister Ice guy). It rained, but it didn’t snow again 🙁

  13. Comment to above message :

    >>>>I took the liberty of improving the look of your site. I hope you don’t >>> mind. Merry Christmas!

    >>>The Improved Five Hundy Site

I also have a suggestion too for “improving” FHBM. Have a section of the show start with quick news items. Name that segment of the show “Bacon Bits.”

  14. Regarding Palazo- I too noticed the berries in the water there. I also noticed the blue tape on the floor outside Barneys. Seriously. more friggin’ blue tape!

Went there to see Jersey Boys again. Yes, again. i think it may be the best show in las Vegas.

Went to Forty Duece. That place is awesome but when I went in there were only two guys in there each drinking a beer and watching a football game and me wandering around.
