I Can Name That New Las Vegas Stage Show in Two Notes

The 1970s were a simpler time—a time when a man could appear on a game show, identify a few shitty songs and win a year’s supply of Turtle Wax, an organ or a brand new Datsun. Magic happened every day. Lives changed.

On Aug. 18, that magic returns when Name That Tune Live opens at Imperial Palace. Expect an official announcement with showtimes and ticket prices soon.

  1. IP could simultaneously offer Name That Smell.
“I can name that smell… in two sniffs.”

  2. Awesome! I hear they pluck the Datsun right out of the IP parking garage.

  3. I hope they use that same gameshow set… hey, it worked for Kramer when he found Merv Griffin’s old stuff. This one is surely also in a dumpster.

  4. First “The Price Is Right” and then “Let’s Make A Deal”, and now “Name That Tune”. What’s next? “Wheel of Fortune” or “Press Your Luck”?

I personally don’t see the appeal of paying to go to a game show.
