  1. Golden Gate is almost always packed with players in the pit from early evening until sunrise. Regardless of the day of the week.

However… not sure if that vibe will work over a much bigger casino floor (with lots more “Boobie Girls” — the dealers and dancers that have made the place a major success). The intimacy of the joint really makes the current vibe.

But it might… as the “new” Plaza is drawing a great crowd to their table games (both pits) on a regular basis. Even without the “Booble Girls” of the Golden Gate.

Always interesting in “The Vegas” …

  2. I think I would rather watch the old Travel Channel shows than this crap….

  3. I’m with TC from Boston: that show was terrible! Those two guys were the biggest jabronis I’ve seen in a while. And I don’t *utilize* that word often!

  4. How dare you discuss what my wife will go to the mattress for.

Sorry… How dare you discuss that for which my wife will go to the mattress.

  5. Report from TROP, actors were not present at Mob Experience at the Trop, but the exhibit was open, at a discount. Hope this gets worked out, I rather enjoyed the Mob Experience. It just was at too high a price point to succeed IHOP

  6. Todd English P.U.B. should be renamed to Todd English S.U.X. We hit this place in Vegas last July and while the food was ‘ok’ and the service was ‘ok’…it just wasn’t worth the money.

Now…here in South Florida…we are lucky enough to have Todd English Tap and Beer Garden. It replaced English’s old ‘Wild Olives’ restaurant in Boca Raton. It’s been open for about a month…and we just stopped in last weekend. I think it’s the same menu as P.U.B. in Vegas. The same font and theme. $12 sliders with fries that tasted like ass. Beer was flat and the service was horrible. One thing I can say about Todd English restaurants…at least he’s trying to make them more consistant. The only good thing about the experience was the Air Conditioning.

  7. “$12 sliders with fries that tasted like ass. ”

    Mark B,
Interesting. What does ass taste like?
