TruTV Turns Cameras on Vegas Strip

“Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock” may be gone, but fear not. The crack producers at TruTV haven’t abandoned Las Vegas. Beginning on July 17, “Vegas Strip” will follow cops along Las Vegas Boulevard, busting ass on drunken skanks and douchebags. This has trainwreck written all over it. Count me in.

  1. One of my friends used to use the phrase “busting ass” to describe flatulence. You can imagine how funny this show would be in this context. At least I can =)

  2. I am all for jackasses being exposed as jackasses on national TV. Maybe this will shame at least some of the jackasses into being at least a little bit more respectful.

Don’t get me wrong. I am all for drinking, partying, staying out late and having a good time, but I don’t get why certain people think they have to get fall over drunk or can use being drunk to be an excuse to be a disrespectful moron. Actually nevermind, I do know why; it’s called immaturity.

  3. This would be a great show if TruTV didn’t feel the need to ‘assist’ their reality TV. Just follow cops on patrol on the Strip and you have a pretty effortlessly entertaining show. However, they decide to toss in extra weirdo’s like the first dude in that trailer and totally ruin the concept.

Can’t expect much from the station that brought you Operation Repo…blech.

  4. I’m so starved for an updated (in this century) Vegas Show. Got my DVR, popcorn and beverages ready. Is this a series? Because my DVR is slated to record more than one show.

  5. I’d like to see a VH1 style show counting down the best Vegas reality shows ever. There’s been a steaming pile of them: the Golden Nugget one, the Red Rock one, the douchebags locked in a suite at the Palms one, the Holly Madison one, the pawn shop one…I watch most of them.
