  1. Wow, the Five Hundy Facebook group is sure active today! Just wanted to send some positive energy your way via the comments section, too. And kudos to you for sharing your experience; that just might save a life. Looking forward to plenty of podcasts in the coming years.

  2. Tim,

Man, I’ve gotta say, you’ve got some pretty big balls making that announcement. Don’t know if I could have done what you did. I’m sure you will get better. Take care, and as always thanks for the great show!

  3. I just checked and can confirm that my balls are at their normal size. Whew. The last thing I need to deal with this week are swollen balls.

    Cheers.

  4. Hi Tim,

I thought this would be a good time to thank you and tell you how important–even influential–your podcast has been to me. I started listening to you back when you did the podcast alone, and have followed you guys ever since, through all of life’s ups and downs.

Being originally from Minneapolis, your podcast was always a touch of home during my sometimes hectic travel schedule. I once called your show from Moscow Russia. Thank you for comforting a tired traveler.

About five years ago I left Minnesota and made the move to Las Vegas. I need to thank you because moving to Las Vegas was a difficult for many reasons. Your podcast was instrumental in choosing Las Vegas over other cites. Ultimately, my move was one of the best decisions I ever made. Even though I live here in Vegas now–and view the city as home and not an escape, your show has remained very relevant. So, thanks again.

Best of luck to you. I know you’ll be fine and I’m looking forward to your speedy return.

  5. Hi Tim,

I too have been listening to you since it was just the Tim show. I always thought I was a little weird to have this love and passion for all things Vegas. Until I came across Five Hundy by Midnight. Then I realized it is an affliction for special people.

It is always a pleasure to listen to you and Michele. You brighten a day by enabling us to visualize ourselves in Vegas each week. It is so kind of the two of you to put so much time into the show so that each week we can all have a little Vegas sunshine.

My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

Looking forward to you being up Five Hundy by Midnight.

    Todd

  6. Stage I ? You got this! Very brave to share the news. Now be prepared for the wave of advice and a difference in the way you are treated by some. It sounds like you have a very sound plan to get this problem resolved! You’ll be back with plenty of medical related rants in no time. We’ll see you at VIMFP!

  7. Tim,

My wife and I are sending positive thoughts your way.

May the healing powers of Phil Hellmuth surround you in their glow and, by your basking in them, allow you to enjoy a speedy recovery.

Seriously, we’ve been listening since episode 1 and both you and Michele do a fantastic job…always funny, always entertaining.

Best of luck to both of you!

  8. Dear Tim and Michele, my heart and best wishes go out to the both of you over the next several weeks as you face this unfortunately all too common detour of life. It’s amazing how quickly patterns develop in our lives, and for me how quickly I become so used your podcast being available to me every Sunday afternoon. Today I had a border line emotional NPR driveway moment listing to yesterday’s episode. Thank you very much for letting the listeners in on your medical issue. Podcasts are a very important to me- and another favorite podcast of mine- The Larry Miller show- also had to go on hiatus while the host was recovering from a medical issue. I know that your recovery will be successful and swift– and I can’t wait to hear new podcasts when you return. My wife and I were lucky to meet you and Michele at the Flamingo for I believe podcast-apalooza #3….and now I can’t wait to see you both at VIMP in October.

  9. Tim,
I was introduced only a little over a month ago to your podcast. Who would have ever known that there were people that are just as passionate about Las Vegas as my wife and I. It’s very insuring that there isn’t something wrong with us. My wife and I are sending our positive thoughts to you and Michelle over the weeks and months ahead of your recovery. I hope you can keep your five hundy family informed of your recovery as I’m sure I can speak for many “we care”! Thanks for all you do and I can’t wait for what ever the podcast provides in the weeks and years to come.

  10. Tim,

I just listened to your podcast and like Joe said, your Five Hundy family cares and wish for the best recovery. Not that I am a doctor, but unfortunately have spent some time visiting family members in a hospital recently, that this is a time to be a germ freak. I am sure Michelle will be diligent in watching you and hospital staff particularly with those tubes, but I know infections are something to be aware of. <– Morbid stuff, I know but prevention is always your best shot. Okay enough of that, but wanted to mention the obvious which I am sure you already know. Finally, I have been listening for at least 7 years to your podcast and look forward to see you guys happy and healthy at the Vegas Mafia picnic this October.

    Chris

  11. Cheers!!! To 2 people I’ve never met, but feel as if I’ve know for years. Viva Las Vegas

  12. Lesley and I just got back to civilization, and are now in Vegas …so we just got caught up on podcastery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and your lovely bride as well, because she needs support too. The Canadian in me says, “Get well, eh!”

  13. Keeping you both prayed up. I have been a fan for a long time and look forward to many more years of Vegas love from you both.

    God Bless!
