CNN reports on a bunch of jerks causing enough trouble to shut down the Strip between Bellagio and MGM Grand last night. I like a good riot as much as the next guy, but I really prefer them to be confined to European football games and Guns n’ Roses concerts.

One Saturday night, I was on Tropicana waiting to turn on to the Strip. Out of nowhere a guy came running into the street in front of my car, and he was followed by a few others. They caught up to the first guy and started beating the crap out of him in the middle of the street. Then the light changed and I didn’t get to see anymore.
Something just like that happened to me last July inside the Mirage. A craps table came out of nowhere and started beating the crap out of my wallet. Suddenly the lights went out and I did’nt see anymore that night.
Some years back, I was sitting at a red light at the intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara. I had my window down and I over heard a couple arguing about the husband blowing all their gambling money. The woman was so pissed, she was screaming in his face.
When the light turned for them to cross the street, she stopped right in front of my car and swung her purse at her husband and cold cocked him in the head. She knocked him right off his feet. While he was laying on the street, she just stormed off. When he got up, his face was so red, he matched the red light.
I just sat there and laughed so hard, that I didn’t noticed my light turned green and the guy behind me started blowing his horn.
I’m sure glad I wasn’t that guy. LOL
