  1. First of all, thanks for playing my message. I think the “Tip of the Week” is a great idea and will be a fun addition to your podcast. Without spoiling things for the listeners, I totally know what you’re talking about on the inaugural “tip of the week”.. 🙂

As for a restaurant recommendation, my wife and I had a very nice dinner at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon in The Venetian. Very nice dinner and fabulous wine list if that’s your thing.

Anyways, keep up the great work. I look forward to the podcast and have recommended it to all my friends who I go to Vegas with regularly who are wondering what “this podcast thing is all about”.

  2. Tim, who sings the Las Vegas is waiting song at the beginning of your show? It sounds like Stimey from Congress of the Cow, or Inch singing it. I like your show a lot. I too get there about 3 or 4 times a year. I just started staying at vacation places and friends houses lately. I have been enjoying Fremont Street and thrift store shopping for the last 2 years. What is going on with Binions Horseshoe? I know that you have covered all the other mergers and takeovers last week. We were there this weekend and had a great time at Binions, but heard all the rumors, however, we could not get a solid answer as to what is going on there. Also, I hope it is not too late to give you my input on birthday dining. I had my birthday dinner this weekend at Hugo’s Cellar in Four Queens. Man I’m still impressed. There was a couple next to us that has been going there for 25 years. The woman in the front, I think her name was Mary remembered them. We went there on a recommendation from a friend in San Diego. She remembers him also. That is amazing. Second suggestion, since I hear you like Sushi, is the Coral Reef bar in Mandalay Bay. What could be better than Sushi from 3 65 year old Japanese Sushi Chefs. I cant wait to hear how your birthday dinner goes. Salud from your newest fan. Geoff.
