  1. Hi Michelle – this doesn’t really have anything to do with the most recent podcast but I just saw this recipe onlin and was thinking of you. Its for Chocolate topped peanut butter bacon bars. Couldn’t resist sending it 🙂

  2. There is also a Earl of Sandwich in the Newark airport in Terminal A.

I bet Pubcrawl will have a have a Rio room review this week. They were staying there for the Star Trek Convention this weekend.

If you buy two pieces of pizza and a soft drink, it’s about ten bucks at the secret pizza shop. I think a whole pie is 17 (but it’s a huge pie.)

  3. I’ve never been there yet, but the Golden Steer in on the north side of Sahara a couple blocks west of Las Vegas Boulevard.

I wonder if Amazon sells the “Amazing, Super-Lifelike, Latex VaginAnus! (Savanna Samson version)”?

    Class, that’s my middle name.

  4. How did Cirque mess up an Elvis themed show in Las Vegas??

I still can’t believe they managed to screw that one up.

  5. Another great podcast. It was appropriate that I was listening to it on my way to Borgata in Atlantic City. Unfortunately, I did not have dinner at Old Homestead, nor did I play Rockin’ Olives (too crowded!)

I don’t know the last time you guys were at Borgata or in AC, but Borgata’s added a new hotel, called the Water Club, which is pretty nice. It has also added a few new restaurants (Stephen Kalt’s Forneletto and Michael Schulson’s Izakaya) and a brand new bar, called…get this, LONG Bar. (Tim-I’m sure you’ll have a field day with that one!)

My suggestion, wait until next year to visit. Hopefully, by then, Revel, the new place will be open.

  6. Three words to make both of you happy: Nude Elvis Wedding.

Just be careful about where you put the ring.

  7. Casa Di Amore is awesome. Definitely recommend it. The limo is about 20 years old, but it gets the job done and saves on cab fare. They’ll take you anywhere you want after dinner which is also sweet.

I wrote a review on my blog when I went last Christmas. I think I owe it another trip, since you mention it.

    Marc

  8. I don’t recall where I read this, but another obstacle for Absinthe to continue in its current form is the fact that the tent they use is on rent from overseas and isn’t available going forward.

I’ll see if I can find the source, but I’m bummed because I didn’t catch the show in June when I was there with my wife and won’t be back until September 17th. Always a day late and a dollar short!
